Seito Yamamoto
Seito Yamamoto joins TeamESSX all the way from his home town of Aichi, Japan. Seito achieved international success beginning by competing at the London Olympics in 2012. He would follow that up with a 6th place finish at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow as well as a silver medal at the 2013 Universiade Games in Kazan, Russia. Seito again represented his home country of Japan at the 2016 Olympics in Rio as well as the 2015, 2017, and 2019 World Championships. He is a 4-time Japan National Champion and 2018 Asian Games Champion and meet record holder at 5.70m/18’8.25”. Seito’s current personal bests are 5.75m/18’10.5” outdoor and 5.77″m/18’11.25” indoor, which is also a Japanese national record indoors. Seito has recently made the move to France and trains with coach Damien Inocencio.
